Dalva Agne Lynch (born in Brazil in 1950) was a member of The Children of God from 1975 to 1979. In 1986 she again joined the group to try to find her three children kidnapped by their father and given to the cult´s custody. She left in 1989, and wrote a book about The Family. In 1990, some excerpts from her book were translated from Portuguese to English and published in the United States. Lynch has stated that the book was never published in its entirety due to the retribution two of her children in the cult were suffering as a result of her writing about her experiences with the organization. She is now a writer and has published three more books in Brazil.
