Excognet.com was a popular ex-member site from 1998 until 2001, after which the content was replaced when the domain was purchased by another party. It was originally established by Miriam Williams, the author of Heaven's Harlots. It included several active discussion forums which originally used Matt's wwwboard script. It later switched to the DCForums software.
