The "meat" of the Word is content and/or beliefs controversial enough to only be made available to individuals who are not new to The Family's doctrine.

The Family prefers to shield inductees to their doctrine from the more controversial and eccentric beliefs as well as to prevent dissemination of their more hardcore doctrine from the outside world.

The etymology of this term is found in 1 Peter 2:2
