Naritas
Masataro Narita (born 1925) and wife Tsutako Narita (Japanese; known in the group as Johane and Lydia, or simply "the Naritas", and affectionately referred to as Otosan [father] and Okasan [mother]), currently live at the Heavenly City School (HCS) in Tateyama, Japan, which is built on property purchased for The Family by the Naritas.
Years ago, Mr. Narita owned a night club in the high-priced Ginza district of Japan. As must anyone who runs such a business in Japan, Mr. Narita had contacts in the Japanese Yakuza. To some degree, the influence he held from this has been used to benefit The Family. He has also financed many Family projects, and in the past contributed tens of thousands of dollars every month to finance the HCS.
Mrs. Narita has struggled with cancer for many years.
