Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is a computer program which provides cryptographic privacy and authentication. PGP was originally designed and developed by Phil Zimmermann in 1991. The Family strongly encourages the use of military grade PGP encryption for all inter-home communications. All email to and from Family offices and World Services units are required to be PGP encrypted.
