Stephen Schaf (Swiss-German) is a former member of The Family International.

In a publicised defection, he and others left the group after sending a series of letters and prophecies to Karen Zerby and Steven Kelly denouncing them as "false prophets". Stephan started a blog where he posts all of his "prophecies". He wrote that God has told him to change his name to David Branch.
