The Ultimate Family Songbook (UFS) was initially released in 1998, and intended for internal use only. It contains a large archive of Family songs (with guitar chords), and includes several other features including a guitar tuner and chord diagrams, as well as the ability to create custom songbooks.
An update for the database of songs was released in December 2004.

The Ultimate Family Songbook was designed for use with Microsoft Windows. While the xFamily.org editors have not extensively tested the software, in our use it has worked without major incident with Windows XP. xFamily.org accepts no responsibility for any problems that may arise with the use of this software.
