World Mission of Faith, Inc. is a front organization of The Family International and an inactive Texas non-profit corporation in the status of "forfeited existence." On January 19, 2004, it filed an application for recognition of exemption with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. On February 19, 2004, its application was approved and the Internal Revenue Service determined that it was "exempt from federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). Because the corporation is recognized as a church, it is not required to file annual Form 990 tax returns.
