Masataro Narita and wife Tsutako Narita, affectionately referred to as Otosan (father) and Okasan (mother), currently live at the Heavenly City School (HCS) in Tateyma, Japan, which is built on property purchased by the Naritas for The Family.
Years ago, Mr. Narita owned a night club in the high-priced Ginza district of Japan. As must anyone who runs such a business in Japan, Mr. Narita had contacts in the Japanese Yakuza. To some degree, the influence he gained from this has been used to The Family's benefit. He has also financed many Family projects, and in the past contributed tens of thousands of dollars every month to finance the HCS.
