Escort Servicing (ESing), was a quick result of the introduction of the FFing doctrine, female members were told to "make it pay", and many became employed by Escort Agencies and/or Massage Services which were fronts for the sex industry. Going on escort or 1-hour massage errands became known as ESing. Working conditions and (unwritten) terms required by such agencies made it understood that an "employee" had to prostitute herself.
