Teaching, Education and More (also known as TEAM Foundation and EduMedia Unlimited) is a Texas non-profit corporation founded in September 1998 and operated and controlled by The Family International. In March 1999, it applied to the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax-exempt status and on April 28. 2000, the IRS determined that it was "exempt from federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3)." Starting in mid-1999, the corporation entered into copyright licensing, distribution and manufacturing agreements with Aurora Production AG and Family Care Foundation. The corporation also distributes products for Activated Ministries.

I.The first half of 2006 the Foundation’s headquarters re-located to California; this resulted in an interruption of services rendered & suspension of promotions/sales of products and materials. The Shipping/Handling services were suspended for 6-7 months; no orders were filled or taken from Dec 2005 to July 2007. . Sales of Christian/educational materials were down 23.1% compared with 2005. Total contributions were also down 75.4% compared to 2005. Total In-Kind Goods Received & Distributed were 7,000 lbs. – down from 24,883.5 in 2005. The Foundation has compiled with the California State requirements/statutes to register & operate as a foreign business; it has received its tax exemption status from the State Franchise Tax Board; it has also received a Sales Tax Permit commencing Jan 01, 2007 from the State Board of Equalization.

On October 11, 2002, it registered to do business in Maryland under the trade name Worldwide Religious News. On November 4, 2005, it filed a termination application with the Maryland Secretary of State and its present status is "dissolved."

Connection to The Family International

While the corpration's filings with the Internal Revenue Service neglect to mention the fact that is is operated and controlled by The Family International and that other organizations it does business with are also operated and controlled by The Family International, its application for exemption does contain the following statement:

The Foundation intends to supply monies and/or sponsor educational materials produced by the Foundation to missionary families, such as, but not limited to, the fellowship of independent Christian missionary communities known as "The Family," the poor and the underprivileged, institutions and organizations, whether religious or educational, public or private, both in the United States and abroad, as the Foundation deems appropriate.

Furthemore, its agreements with Family Care Foundation specify that certain favorable terms and special treatment be granted to to members of 'The Family":

In all agreements solicited by DISTRIBUTOR, provision will be made for non-commercial sales of the Property by projects operating under the umbrella of Family Care Foundation, or by members of the fellowship of independent missionary communities known as The Family...

LICENSOR retains the right to grant non-commercial distribution rights to projects operating under the umbrella of Family Care Foundation or by members of the fellowship of independent missionary communities known as The Family...

The corporation's web site contains the following statement about its relationship to The Family International:


TEAM Foundation supports The Family International in educational programs in more than one-hundred countries around the world.

Dedicated Family volunteers and missionaries have pioneered, built & set-up hundreds of home-schools, missionary schools, schools for poor and underprivileged children as well as special schools for the deaf, blind or handicapped in the USA and in developing countries worldwide.
